They join an already star-studded track listing that includes Chris Poland (Megadeth), Keri Kelli (Alice Cooper Band), Chris Slade (AC/DC), Ira Black (Lizzy Borden), Damon Johnson (Brother Cane), Richard Kendrick (Near Life Experience, Straitjacket Smile), Derrick LeFevre (Lillian Axe), Rose Reiter (Skyscreamers), Gregg Analla, Loaded Dice, Bugsy Parker, Robot Lords of Tokyo, and a host of others.

Bush confirms new album and tour in 2011

"Everything Always Now" set for October release, tour to be mapped out later.

Bush are extending their reunion - the band has confirmed they will be releasing a new album later this year and will tour in 2011. The group, fronted by Gavin Rossdale, announced plans to reform for a festival gig at the Epicenter Twenty Ten event in Fontana, California in September.

And now the bandmates will extend the reunion - Rossdale and drummer Robin Goodridge are working alongside new members Chris Traynor and Corey Britz on new material for the first time in nine years. Rossdale says, "I'm so pleased because I've got my voice back. To be in Bush, the band you're basically born to be in, it's like a suit of armor. It's very exciting."

Apple Records to open their vaults.

When you think of Apple Records you think of the Beatles naturally but the famed label launched by the Fab Four also gave the world an impressive array of releases from artists ranging from James Taylor to Badfinger to Billy Preston. Now Apple are opening their vaults, here is the official word:

Launched by The Beatles in 1968, as the new outlet for their own recordings as well as the music of an eclectic roster of artists - James Taylor, Badfinger, Billy Preston, Mary Hopkin, Doris Troy, and Jackie Lomax among them - who were all personally brought to the label by The Beatles (individually and/or collectively), Apple Records made popular music history from the very moment it opened its doors.

Four decades later, Apple Corps Ltd. and EMI Music raise the curtain on remastered CD and digital download releases of 15 key albums from the Apple Records catalog. All 15 titles will be released on October 26, 2010. Most of the physical CDs will include bonus material. Together, the 15 albums represent the first ever Apple Records releases to be available via digital download.

Good things come to those who wait, bring on the tunes!

Shakedown in Romania...It may really be the Highway to Hell!

AC/DC may have played their hit 'Highway To Hell' thousands of times, but they never expected they would actually get stuck on one - in remote Romania. "The band's caravan was stopped at the border with Hungary by employees of the national roads company who asked them to pay E50 ($A72.65) for each vehicle, or a total of E2,500 ($A3,632.66) before they were allowed to leave the country," the company's manager Doina Tiron told the media last Tuesday.

Highway tolls of almost 3 grand...heck you guys got off easy; after all there's vampires in Romania...right?
